This is the absolute first time I've ever participated in this blog hop, so I'm not really sure what it's all about. Yes, I know that you follow a whole bunch of people, I'm just not sure I really get it. :)
I am completely confused about which question to use, because Alison and Parajunkee posted different ones, so I'll just answer both. ^:^
Which hyped up book do you think was not worth all the talk?
Wither by Lauren Destefano
Beautiful Creatures by Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia
I don't know, it just seemed to me like these books tried too hard. I could take how long it took the story to develop in Wither, or how whiny and drawn out Beautiful Creatures was. Maybe I'll change my mind soon, because I believe in Re-reads. ;)
What hyped up book do you think was worth all the talk?
Divergent by Veronica Roth,
Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
Do I really need to explain my choices? Divergent was freaking epic, Catching Jordan broke my heart, then put it back together again, and The Infernal Devices keeps me wanting to know more, while collapsing on the floor in stitches. I love sarcasm. :)
And, because I'm so weird, I added my own:
Books that deserved hype, that I really don't think got it.
The DUFF by Kody Keplinger
Forget You by Jennifer Echols
Amelia Anne is Dead and Gone by Kat Rosenfield
Fall From Grace by Charles Benoit
Partials by Dan Wells got it's fair share, but hey, it deserved more. :)
Kill Me Softly by Sarah Cross
When the Sea is Rising Red by Cat Hellisen
Purity by Jackson Pearce
Thanks for reading, ya'll! :)
